Anhydrite crystallizes as tabular crystals or as granular masses. It occurs as a colourless mineral or in the colours ranging from blue to grey.
This mineral facilitates strength on the pysical plane and allows one to understand that the physical body is, in fact, transient. It acts to guide one toward acceptance of that which may come tomorrow. It has been used to help one to develop stamina and to provide for loving communication with those of a different mind. It enhances understanding via supporting the authorization for clearing the distractions from the mind.
It also provides the energy for "glad acceptance" of all the changes and situations which one has the opportunity to experience; allowing one to recognize that the past is gone, except for the memories of beauty, and that nothing remains except the grace through which one can accept the benefit of each episode.
It has been used in the treatment of disorders of the throat and to ameliorate water retention and swelling.
