Mind: Sedative, yet uplifting character is excellent for anxiety, depression and the nervous system.
Body: A valuable antiseptic for the urinary tract and effective with infection and inflammation, chiefly cystitis. Works well with the digestive tract and releives conditions such as painful digestion, dyspepsia, flatulence, colic, indigestion and loss of appetite. Casts out intestinal parasites and diminishes gall stones apparently. Helpful with infections of the respiratory system which may include breathing difficulties as well as tonsillitis, bronchitis and tuberculosis. Often effective on cold sores, chicken pox and shingles. Could have a tonic action on the uterus and was once used to heal sexually transmitted diseases. Excellent insect repellant.
Skin: Its antiseptic and healing action seens to benefit oily skin conditions, especially when linked to stress. These may include eczema, psoriasis, acne, scabies, varicose ulcers, wounds, herpes, seborrhoea of the skin and scalp. Excellent for skin sores in combination with Eucalyptus.
